Train hopping

I threw a fancy party last month. but didn't have my new camera yet. I've been having trouble uploading to ourmedia for this site lately, so now I'm trying a link to YouTube. I have the feeling this may just shoot you over to YouTube itself. In which case the video quality goes way down, even on my high speed connection. But let's give it a try shall we?

trying something new

So I'm finding some gems on YouTube while ourmedia's site is down and I can't load my own video. Rescued two more birds out of the chimney again today. Let's try this:

Annoying Friends

I DID NOT DO THIS. This is my friend's good buddy shooting this one.

So Sorry!

So Sorry to have been gone so long. I have been doing research on the blogosphere. Oh, the beautiful things I have found! This one is from the wonderful fellows at EepyBird.com in Maine:
Enjoy!

Valentine for Agent

I have been dormant member of a sleeper cell of the SSDS for decades now, and I am finally ready to come clean. I admit to having consorted with members of various arial dance collectives and contact improvisers over the years, only a handful of which knew of my true identity. That knowledge, of course, came because they were members of the SSDS as well. (Super Secret Dance Society)

So, if you ever wonder why there's footprints on your Lexus...

The Color Purple

Whereforeas so many of my shorts are grainy indoor shots, i decided to take my camera on a walk, determined to get something colorful up on this site.
The handheld shots were shaky so I chopped them up into this. There's mostly purple with some yellow in there for contrast. The camera seems to darken things quite a bit.

Movies on Tape

This is a friend of a friend. He lives as a hermit and was speaking about his discovery of VHS/BETA videos. His voice is sort of soft. I bumped it up as much as I could.

little birdies

Found out that our local university's film festival will accept shorts in digital video only if they were originally shot on f-i-l-m. I spoke with them on the phone today. How embarrassing. The application form, which I have already burned, did say digital video, so I thought....

These birdies don't look like much on a tiny screen. Last month I showed this film (sorry I mean Video) downtown at the warehouse. The projector blew it up to 15' x 20' and it looked great. When it's on a large screen like that, you can see the individual birdies reacting to each other. I have to get down to the shore and film them some more. I mean video them.
